This may seem a bit unorthodox, because I am not writing about one of my kids. Instead, I am writing about my little brother, Zack. Last Thanksgiving, our mother was killed in a drinking and driving accident, just over 3 years after we lost our father to a sudden death. These last couple of years have been really tough on us three kids, but especially for my little brother. The holiday season this year will be extremely difficult, and with us having to pay all kinds of lawyer and estate tax fees, we have no money to keep our holiday traditions alive. My wish is that my little brother, who's passion is to go to culinary school when he graduates high school, gets a brand-new nice set of Cutco knives to start off his culinary career. I feel like I relate to Monti a little bit when it comes to family. This has been an issue for years and that’s part of the reason why I moved out at 17and now I'm 20, the oldest out of 4 kids and the other 3 are still living at home having to go through this time and time again. I would say they all deserve something special, but my little brother I feel is the one who hurts the most. I feel like he is mine sometimes, I basically took care of him as if he were mine when he was a baby, and I adore him and it hurts me so much to see him sad when these things go on at home. Sometimes I wish I could give him everything he wants but, living on my own and only working part time is already a big struggle. I know Pedro wants a wii sooo bad! He always hears his friends at school talking about all the games they play on their wii's. I was hoping to get him one for Christmas but, to be honest, I can't afford it. I really hope that you guys can help me out, but mostly just make him really happy! He deserves it. I listen to it every morning and I crack up with you guys all of the time. . I am not very good at this writing thing so I am going to try my best. I am a mother of two little girls, Destiny (8) and Serenity (3). My children mean to the world to me and for me to be happy they have to be happy first. I feel very blessed because my girls are very well behaved. Every Friday my daughter comes home with a Teriffic Tiger slip for good behavior at school and we hang them on the wall and praise her often. My little one just started preschool and after a rough start she now sucks it up every day and promises that she will not cry when we drop her off, and she has kept her promise. While both of my daughters deserve to have their day made, I am really writing this in the hopes that you will make my oldest daughters day. When she was 4 years old, she was diagnosed with diabetes and after we left the hosptial, she has been a trooper ever since. She has had a couple of hospitalizations since, the most recent in August, from her diabetes. I have noticed in her, that she is not the bright, smiley, happy little girl that she was when she was pre-diabetes. I see alot of sadness in her eyes, especially when times like Halloween come around and we can't let her have a bag of candy like normal kids. I would love to do something for my daughter to make her day, to hopefully get her spirits up. Anything from a lunch out with one of her friends, to a gift certificate, to a Wii, ANYTHING, to make her feel special, would not only make her day, but mine. She is so brave and such a good girl. Because both her father and I are unemployed, these are things that we just cannot do. Please, make my girls day ladies! . She talked about you dancing, bannering, the homeless people and about taking pictures. She mentioned that she felt REALLY uncomfortable taking one of the pictures - like creepy - like scared. . When I got in yesterday I got on Spotted to look at the event and came across a picture with [her] in it. I was kind of taken back by the picture. . Bonnie simply wants a little help to give her kids the little things they need and can't always get at home. She could also use some help to buy extra learning supplies because she puts so much of her own money into the classroom! . We have Angelman’s syndrome, down syndrome, severe retardation, cerebral palsy, and many other disabilities. I am really looking for any something like a gift certificate to go to Lakeshore Learning in Bellevue to pick out some manipulatives or even a gift certificate to and buy our students so new clothes that they desperately need. Many live in a group home or with grandparents. Many of their parents do not have a lot of money due to having to buy pull ups or diapers for their students. I put a lot my own money into this program and well I am going broke myself. If you could help us out in any way that would be fabulous-if you choose someone else then hey I am not gonna argue. My name is Annie and I would love to make my 7 year old daughter Hayley's day. She is a very brave little girl. The end of last month she and my husband saved the lives of our neighbors that live directly across the street from us. She was making her breakfast and looked out our front window and saw that their house was on fire! She yelled it to me which caught me off guard so i went to see for myself. Sure enough their kitchen and attic was full of flames. I called to my husband and he ran over there and pretty much tried to break down their front door. They were ALL asleep. The firemen took a little while to get here so my husband is using our house hose to put out the fire, My poor daughter was so upset cause the family stayed in the house for what seemed like forever and she thought they were going to die. It really broke my heart. But everyone got out unharmed thankfully. When all was said and done the neighbors called her their little hero and the firemen told her that she saved them. . I know she would freak out in a very good way if she were to get a WII with some games to play with her family and friends. This is the only thing she's been asking for for a while now that we as a lower income military family just can afford. She understands this and doesnt make a big fuss about which is awesome for a 7 yr old. . I'm sorry to write you a novel, I just wanted to make sure you knew why I was writing. It's not that she or we just want her to have it..... she deserves something great! . Of course we can, check out Angie's email below and hear the audio above. But grab the tissues first... "Hi Brooke and Monti,   My nephew and neice both have birthdays coming up, Caleb-Oct 6th turning 2 and Gracie-Nov 15th turning 1.  Their dad, my brother Chris, has never made it to his kid's birthdays...ever (except for Caleb's birth...he was unable to make Gracie's).  He is with the Army Infantry and was stationed in Germany before being deployed to Afghanistan where he's been since February.  He's only met Gracie twice very briefly...once over Christmas for about a week and for a few days prior to being sent to Afghanistan.  Caleb only remembers his dad by his voice over the phone.  EVERY TIME the phone rings (or even if he sees a phone), Caleb spits out one of the few words he knows...Da-Doh! Da-Doh! And more than just a tent, Grand Events Rentals is giving Lee and Dave an entire wedding in their backyard with white linens, twinkle lights and their very first 'real' dance on a dance floor!!!
