Lipstick brushTap — don’t rub — concealer onto a zit. Even better use a lipstick brush. This will actually cover up the pimple rather than blending the product around it.

StrawberriesSince its nearing the end of strawberry season: For a quick, easy exfoliant, use strawberries! Just take the end of the strawberry that you don’t eat, and rub it over your face. The strawberry’s acidity helps slough off the dead skin and you get a nice healthy glow.

Foot Scrub
August 4th, 2009

WalnutsA summer’s worth of flip flops can leave your feet looking less than stellar. Make your own foot scrub at home with just three simple ingredients. Use a blender on low and mix 1/4 cup of shelled walnuts with a 1/2 cup of olive oil and a tablespoon of honey. Scrub your feet with the mixture for two minutes and rinse. The honey will give your tired feet a moisture boost they will love!

Tone with Coffee
July 24th, 2009

bbSmooth out your skin tone with coffee: Used coffee grounds make the best thing to amp up the texture of your skin! Use them while they are still warm, like you would any exfoliator but make sure the mask dries before you wash it off. It will brighten your skin, remove spots and even out skin tone. The grounds also act as a natural exfoliator.

This is exactly what dermatologist and plastic surgeons recommend to their patients to treat swelling after a treatment or surgery. It’s that easy!
