Fight, fight, fight!

Okay… so no fists were thrown but three women did have to fight over tickets for Britney’s concert in April! Brooke and Monti set it up that we had three contestants and two pairs of tickets, so the three women had to decide which two got the tickets. And when the women finally came to a decision, the lady who got nothing was in for a special surprise!!!

The Ladies Room has been working to put smiles on kids faces for a few weeks now and we’d like to share this with you.
Angie wrote into the station about her sister-in-law Amber and her two young kids, Caleb and Gracie, who have never celebrated a birthday with their father Chris because he is serving overseas.

The final Pop being honored by The Ladies Room for Father’s Day is Luis who was nominated by his wife Mytyl, read this amazing email she wrote about her husband:
Hi Girls!
Our children are CRAZY about their Dad, he is the best father I have ever seen…his father was a deadbeat – in and out of jail…on and off drugs – and he has done everything possible to be the exact opposite of what he grew up with. And since our kiddies are too young to write you and tell you why he is the best, I will do it on their behalf.
Luis is an amazing father to our two children Malaki (3) and Amaya (10 weeks). Luis has wanted nothing more in his life than to be a better father than he had, which he has succeeded at. Through my entire pregnancy with both children he attended almost every doctor’s appointment so he could hear the heartbeat and make sure things were moving along fine. He would make up crazy songs and sing them to my stomach so they would learn his voice.

My husband (Daren) is a great daddy to our 4 1/2 identical twin sons (Gavin and Dimitri). When we found out I was pregnant we decided he would be a stay at home dad - then we found out we were going to have twins.

Hi Brooke and Monty -
I have always said that I am so lucky to have such a wonderful father in my life for so many reasons and I’d like to explain why.
When I was 16 years old, my mother passed away due to acute leukemia and my father was left to take care of three kids: me, my younger sister and my older brother. My older brother had just left for college, so my Dad was left at home to raise two teenage girls. I can not express how grateful I am for what an amazing job my Dad did raising us kids, while working full time and grieving the death of his wife. While many fathers could have simply checked out, wallowed in self pity or given up - my Dad stepped up to the plate. Read more …
