We all know the impact Breast Cancer has on so many lives. We are four local women who decided it was time to do something about it. We made a commitment to climb Mt. Rainier in July to fight Breast Cancer. We are Team Summit (f)or Busts and we are raising $20,000 to donate to Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center for cancer prevention, detection and treatment through the Climb to Fight Breast Cancer program.
In its 13th year, Climb to Fight has made a huge financial impact on the research to battle this disease and has helped spread awareness worldwide and provide hope to survivors. It has also helped celebrate and keep alive the memory of those who have been lost to this disease. We are everyday people who have seen Breast Cancer take a toll on our friends, families, co-workers and loved ones and decided to take on our own challenge to make a difference. None of us have ever attempted a mountaineering expedition before but we are training hard in preparation! Please visit our website HERE to learn more about us, the incredible Climb to Fight Program and Fred Hutch and please consider making a donation. Every little thing helps. You can also follow teammate Amy’s journey HERE
