Just some thoughts on Monti’s dilemma from this morning re: Tennessee trip… of course, Billy lying to her is wrong and I don’t think they should go and can simply tell his family that… #1 won’t be able to spend enough time with them, #2 weather conditions are dicey and Monti has to be able to get back to work, #3 you’d all rather go in the spring, when you can spend enough time and the weather is more cooperative, and #4 you’d like to spend Danger’s 1st Christmas with just the 3 of you bonding as a family on this special occasion (or at least that’s what you can say)… that way #1 you don’t make Billy look or feel bad with his family (there’s NOTHING to be gained in the long run with that kind of negative), you have to cancel the reservation, but still have the ticket and can pay a change fee in February to book for April to set the reservation for a longer period, better weather and no crowded airports due to holiday travelers for a more relaxed enjoyable time. Danger’s first Christmas should not be spent with his parents bickering over something as ridiculous as plane reservations during the worst travel time of the year. I’m sure his family wouldn’t appreciate constant bickering over him lying, the fact you have so little time there, crowded airports, horrible weather, etc. Why ruin their Christmas too? Seems like the three of you need to not worry about running around in a frenzy and spending most of your time in the air and not relaxing with family anyway… and just stay home, calm down and enjoy this special once in a lifetime first Christmas with your son… just my thoughts… T-Bone
