We’ve taken over all the fields and are throwing the biggest free party in town, and we want you there! 2. Washington State International Kite Festival
The annual, weeklong Kite Festival ramps up this weekend in Long Beach offering everything from stunt kite flying to fighter kites. Also Kids’ kite-making activities all weekend, and don’t miss the Lighted Kite Night Fly followed by fireworks on Friday. Free! www.kitefestival.com
3. Chinatown Night Market
Held during summer nights every year. The evening features local vendors offering shoppers tempting foods, gifts, art and other must have accessories. This annual open-air street market brings together thousands of people, young and old, to experience shopping, eating, ongoing entertainments, games and movies at the heart of Chinatown International District. 4. Movies on the Wall in West Seattle!

5. Tibet Festival
Tibet Fest helps preserve and present Tibetan traditions with artwork, dance and discussions of the Tibetan people. Handmade arts and crafts, prayer flags, a Tibetan bazaar and children’s activities highlight Tibetan rituals and customs, while symbolic masks, ancient movement and expert speakers illuminate the culture’s foundation in Buddhism.

BONUS
Bonza Bash
The notable event will infuse premium wineries with the classic Aussie flair of unique Bonza Bash style and fun. be a benefit for The Seattle Humane Society.
From 8 to 11 p.m. wine will be flowing from celebrated wineries including: Barrage Cellars, Bookwalter Winery, Darby Winery, DiStefano Winery, Sparkman Cellars, Chateau Ste Michelle, Patterson Cellars, Tasawik and Aussie wines The Black Chook and Woop Woop. Guests will also be able to purchase wine for their home cellars. Hors d’oeuvres will accompany the wine tasting and a fully stocked bar will be available throughout the evening.
The upscale event turns into festive Bonza Bash fun at 11 p.m. with DJs Kippy, Victor Menegaux and Speedy G enticing guests on the dance floor to old school and new school beats.

Seattle Bike-In
The Northwest Film Forum is hosting an ode to the bicycle, with bike polo, live music and speakers, and then, a screening of “Jour de Fête,” a 1949 French comedy about a bike postman lovably blundering through his route. Bring a picnic and your trusty bike, 7pm. The 4th Annual Seattle Bike-In is happening August 23rd in Cal Anderson Park on Capitol Hill.
