Summer may be half over, but you still have time to make a last ditch effort to fit into your bikini! And Angie Lewis from Power Up Personal Training is giving us 5 Tips to finally lose that last 10lbs and get us on the beach feeling hot! So listen above and follow these tips to get yourself a hot bod:
1. Limit Your Carbs — Cut them out after 4pm to keep your body from storing fat while you sleep.
2. Watch Your Beverages — Most times they only add calories to your diet, so stick to water, green tea and coffee. And remember, alcohol not only adds calories but screws up your metabolism!
3. Skip the Diet — While diet drinks may have zero calories, the artificial sweeteners only trick our bodies to think we’re getting sugar and instead of conquering the craving we only want more!
4. Perform Interval Training — Add intervals of intense cardio to your weight training. Jack your heart rate up real high for about 30 seconds, take a quick break, continue weights and repeat. This will put you into a fat burning mode for the rest of the day.
5. Get a Personal Trainer — Even our personal trainer has her own personal trainer because they will push you, and to cut down on the cost you can do group personal training!
