Monti’s brother Joel Carlo is an artist, you can learn more about his work HERE. Then check out these sketches and see more HERE, they are some of Joel’s Figurative pieces. Because even if you don’t “get” art, you can still appreciate his talent.
However, is that appreciation lost in the workplace? Joel recently started a new job that does not involve art and he gave his female boss some of his Figurative art pieces for her birthday. Tell us what you think below and vote in the poll:

i think it’s acceptable, i would think it was an honor for someone to share something so personal with me! i would just hope they understood if i didn’t hang the art up at work but took it home to display.
the art work itself might be inappropriate at work but i don’t think giving it to someone should be, then again it’s work and maybe there are some boundaries you shouldn’t cross.

I feel the top two are very tasteful, not destracting in any way, the bottom one slightly uncomfortable. But you really need to see his website to understand his talents. I don’t feel these show his full potential. I agree with the previous poster, Great honor to receive. Probably best to take it home to monitor whom you share it with. P.S. – I’ve bought a co worker soap and lotion collections as a gift, does not mean i want them to use them at work!

I personally find the top one more distracting than the last one. These pieces are Lovely! And having seen his other artwork, these so classically designed are among my favorite of what he’s made. The focus isn’t on the “naughty bits” but how well he has created something from nothing and how lifelike it is. If it crossed the line, it was only by a little- who HASN’T seen things like this in public museums or statues-usually its women that are naked. I say Hooray that its Finally a guy! And not to be offended if these weren’t “work appropriate” enough for someone to hang in the workplace.
