I was once told that someone else should bring the baby into the house so that the pet in this case ‘chewy chew chew super dog’ won’t get pissed off that Monti or Billy brought the ‘thing’ in that everyone is all gaga over. It is the same thing for new pets too. I did it with my new puppy Mac so that my cat Girly Girl wouldn’t get all huffy and pretend to be really really needy. It worked. They are pretty good friends now.
