Hello Brooke and Monti,

My name is Timothy Miller and I am Jordan Jantoc's step father, and Rianna lives in my home. I remember listening to your program last week when you announced your "Operation Prom". I remember thinking how excited Lena and I were as we listened to the two of you announce what you were going to provide for Rianna's prom preparations and to the evening to make it special; the best prom she could have. I was initially surprised how subdued Rianna's reaction was as she listened to you. I understand why though. It is easy to understand Rianna's muted response when one considers the difficulties faced by her over the last year or so, but that did not mean she was not climbing out of her skin excited, because she was! Lena had tears in her eyes and was watery and feeling quite warm with gratitude. This was a very special act of kindness you extended to "our kids".
I thought you might like to know that while you didn't get the initial excitement that I though you should have received, the following days were filled with great excitement and anticipation for both Rianna and Jordan. I lied... The excitement was experience by our entire 23 member family, and that's a lot of excitement! The end result was that Rianna looked fabulous. I mean it. I never realized she could look so good. Jordan did his part and was decked to the hilt and stylin'. The beautiful white stretched limo, and I mean stretched was exquisite. The kids were so excited, but I don't think they were as excited as Lena and I were. As parents, we were grateful, excited and overwhelmed... all at the same time. It was a great night for all of us. Our kids came home right after the prom and regaled us with their takes, and we were treated to living their experience with them. Yes, they would have gone to the prom with out your intervention, but it would have been just a prom. Thanks to you, Brooke and Monti, our kids went to A PROM, with all they could have hoped for to make that evening as much a fairy tale as it could have been. From parents to you, we are grateful and humbled by your kindness, and want to thank you from the the bottom of our hearts. You have a special place in our thought and hearts.

Sincerely, Timothy Miller
