This week’s email is from Jess who wanted to make her kid brother Zach smile. They and another sibling lost their mother last Thanksgiving and their father a few years back; Jess writes, “The holiday season this year will be extremely difficult…” Read Jess’ complete story below and listen to the Ladies as they surprise Zach with a gift for him to follow his dreams above:

“Dear Ladies Room,

This may seem a bit unorthodox, because I am not writing about one of my kids. Instead, I am writing about my little brother, Zack. Last Thanksgiving, our mother was killed in a drinking and driving accident, just over 3 years after we lost our father to a sudden death. These last couple of years have been really tough on us three kids, but especially for my little brother. The holiday season this year will be extremely difficult, and with us having to pay all kinds of lawyer and estate tax fees, we have no money to keep our holiday traditions alive. My wish is that my little brother, who’s passion is to go to culinary school when he graduates high school, gets a brand-new nice set of Cutco knives to start off his culinary career. It seems that the only thing keeping his spirit afloat, is the hope of one day being a chef and owning his own restaurant. Again, I know this may seem a bit out of the norm for what you ladies are looking for, but it would mean the world to me if we could help make my little brother’s dream come true.
